NeAnna Ammerman McLean is a third generation Real Estate Professional, and licensed and practicing Realtor in Maryland and DC, proudly with the esteemed Steely Housing under The Greene Group, of Compass. She is a graduate of the Maryland Realtors Leadership Academy class of 2020.

With a passion for advocacy (obsessively specific in mental health), NeAnna operates as the Director for a 501c3 charitable organization with a mission to provide housing resources using a strong emphasis on mental Health. As a Behavioral and certified Data Scientist (Predictive Analytics), she uses her HBCU educational background to serve her industry and community both domestically and abroad. 

She served a 10 year tenure with the NAACP, National Headquarters, as manager of High End Donor and estates; facilitating the Real Estate Processes of constituents and the Association in the office of Development.

With over 19 years of advocacy (non-profit/Government Relations) experience, NeAnna carries a diverse array of interagency knowledge. In addition to NeAnna being appointed to the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council by the President of Maryland Realtors, NeAnna also serves on Maryland Realtors Housing Affordability & Equal Opportunity Advisory Committee and their Conference & Events Planning Advisory Committee where she serves on the Fundraising committee. NeAnna was recently appointed to the Leadership Board of PyLadies DC and is actively involved in the Fundraising efforts for the National Heart Association. 

NeAnna is a proud member of Order of the Eastern Star, The Washington Club at 15 Dupont Circle, prior to its disbanding and she serves on the cultural planning and Scholarship Review committees for the Humanities DC initiative. NeAnna is a member of Women in Government Relations and their Diversity-Equity-Inclusion Committee along with being appointed to the their Transportation & Infrastructure Task Force. She serves on the Data sub committee for Diversity in Government Relations under the Almond Group. She has served as long time member of Meridian International Global Leadership Council as well as having served with the Bush Institute as mentee and later mentor and Obama's Initiative for the Caribbean & Latin America.

NeAnna is active in US Department of State Stakeholders and Department of State National Museum of American Diplomacy and serves as a lead in the United Nations Sustainable Cities Initiative for Baltimore City.

NeAnna serves as instructor for Mental Health & Housing for the State of Maryland Assisted Living Management Certification via Zion Healthcare, where she created and manages their data infrastructure to better serve their students and beneficiaries of mental health/cognitive services for the vulnerable/aging population. 

NeAnna brings her spirit of advocacy to serve as a personable, knowledgeable Realtor with niche experience in design, complete business real estate acquisition & planning and an assertive commitment to Fair Housing.

NeAnna resides in the DMV with her husband, three sons Hairless Chinese Crested  and cat. She enjoys hand dancing, practicing Wing Chun Kung Fu, competing at the gun range, reading, writing mental health & housing code, and cooking for family. 

NeAnna is fluent in Spanish, Somali & Yiddish.
