Shelter will always be a life necessity, is Martha's way of thinking. With all of life's encounters, having the right property to go to rather it's home or work should at least be one of the right things in place. Martha is one who still sits one on one with each of her clients because it is important for her to understand just what the client needs. Having the right tools and education, allows her to encounter each prospective client by giving them her undivided attention to help them reach their very own real estate goal.
Martha began her real estate career in 2003 as an Assistant Property Manager and joined CoStar Group, a Commercial Real Estate database company, three years later. In 2008, during her seven-year tenure with CoStar Group, she became a dual career real estate agent for 6 years. Anxious to learn more, she began by helping everyone she knew who was in need of moving. This helped hone her expertise in many neighborhoods throughout Maryland including Montgomery Co, Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Frederick, and even Charles County, Maryland. After becoming a full-time real estate agent in 2014, she decided to narrow down on the communities she serves. Today, she primarily focuses on Washington, DC, Montgomery, Howard, Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties, while continuing to assist existing clientele in other parts of Maryland. Martha graduated from the Maryland Realtors Leadership Academy in 2018. She has been noted several times for being Top Listing Agent and Top Selling Agent at her Real Estate Brokerages. Martha was born and raised by her Dominican Mother in Washington, DC – currently residing right outside of the city’s boundaries with her three wonderful children. They keep her active with their sports and academic events. What she loves most about the area is its diversity. She and her kids enjoy hiking, being outdoors, and visiting all the shops, restaurants, and movie theaters. Her favorite activity of all is reading. She's an avid volunteer at Shepherd’s Table since 2006 and still assists at Casa for DC since 2019. Her previous experience in customer service has instilled a habitual state of living by the golden rule, “Treat others, as you want to be treated.” Giving honest and genuine attention with no strings attached is the personality trait that makes her such a wonderful sales professional. She is a problem solver, an innovator, and prides herself on thinking outside of the box.
